Bogi is my favorite
In sankranti season, the first
festival is bogi.
Mainly farmers celebrated the
bogi festival. South India is famous for makara sankranti and bogi festivals.
At this season many Telugu
people will go to their hometown. At that moment all the family members
gathered at one place.
At that moment we could see
joint families.
Bogi fire is auspicious to the
festival.
The process:
In the village, all the family
members wake up at morning 4 am or 5 am.
After completing regular
activities in the morning, women concentrated on kitchen for cooking different varieties.
Gents are focusing bogi fire. All
the members wear new dress in traditional way.
Every door was decorated by
mango leaves and Puja room also.
The content is make by cow's
waste for bogi fire. Bogi fire smoke is beneficial to health.
After bogi fire, all the family
members gathered and doing chit chatting.
Each to each remember their
memories and experiences with family.
The food is delicious. We can't
get that food from hotels. Because it was made by mothers.
Bogi gives tremendous happiness
to me. So the bogi is my favorite.
